Phoenix Singers give three live performances of thrilling classical and modern choral music in Framlingham and beyond each year.
We have built a reputation for exciting and energetic performances of a wide classical repertoire under a series of accomplished musical directors.
We provide an opportunity for singers of all abilities to share in the joy and benefits of choral singing.
We promote the art of choral singing through performance and through outreach in the community.
We are an established charitable organisation looking forward to our 50th anniversary.
Recent successes have included a moving performance of JS Bach's St. John’s Passion Vivaldi’s Gloria, Britten's St. Nicholas, Mozart’s Coronation Mass, and JS Bach’s Christmas Oratorio. We also collaborate with other larger societies to mount larger works at Snape Maltings Concert Hall, including most recently Vaughan Williams’ Sea Symphony and Elgar's Dream of Gerontius.
