Phoenix Singers has built a reputation for exciting and energetic performance of a wide classical repertoire under a series of accomplished musical directors.
During its 40+ years existence Phoenix Singers has performed well over 100 musical works, ranging over three centuries from Bach to Britten and including many well-known compositions for choir and orchestra.

Join Phoenix Singers at their concert for Christmas 2025
A thrilling evening of choral music centred on Mozart’s extraordinarily rich Vespere Solennes de Confessore, a work in which the composer gives full rein to the breadth of his musical voice from heart-melting beauty to stirring forcefulness. Phoenix Singers and soloists, under director Geoff Lavery, can be relied on to give a memorable and moving performance, but, also, it is Christmas, so the programme includes an opportunity to join the Singers in some traditional carols.
