Phoenix Singers has built a reputation for exciting and energetic performance of a wide classical repertoire under a series of accomplished musical directors.
During its 40+ years existence Phoenix Singers has performed well over 100 musical works, ranging over three centuries from Bach to Britten and including many well-known compositions for choir and orchestra.

Framlingham’s musical calendar reaches a thrilling crescendo this summer as Phoenix Singers present Opera Stars — an unforgettable evening of operatic splendour. This special concert promises to be a celebration of the greatest arias and choruses ever written, performed by the town’s beloved choral society alongside world-class soloists. From the soaring drama of Verdi and Puccini to the lyrical beauty of Mozart and Bizet, the programme is set to transport audiences through the heart of the operatic tradition.
Audience members can expect to hear iconic pieces such as the Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves from Verdi's Nabucco and the Habanera from Bizet's Carmen, among many others. The evening will also include refreshments, making it a perfect night out for music lovers of all ages.
